The Plan
Day 1
Best of beginnings: Paro- Thimphu
We land in Paro where you are surrounded by tall mountains embedded with lush pine trees surround you. We head straight to the capital city, Thimphu, which is less than 2 hours drive. On the way, we stop and take an exhilarating walk across 600 years old, Tachogang Lhakhang bridge, the oldest iron bridge in Bhutan, located just off the Paro-Thimphu highway. Next, we stop at Chuzom which is the point of confluence of two key rivers of Bhutan. Enroute, we also see several Bhutanese villages. Upon arrival in Thimpu, check in at the hotel and relax till we assemble for dinner and get together in evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu.
